Texas A&M AgriLife Extension has provided research and education to local communities for many years and is always looking for new and innovative ways to carry out our mission of education. In 2017, we successfully launched a week-long “Birding the Border” educational program and tour. During this event, birding experts provided tours and programs in various locations such as San Felipe Creek, Rio Grande, and local ranches that featured many bird species. The event has been sold out for each of the 2 years and attracts participants from all over the country. Because of its success and by popular demand, it was decided to expand our event to a festival format to host 70+ participants each day.
Our goal is to provide a great experience for both our participants and our vendors! To have a great trade show for our participants we have to have the best vendors.
